We are delighted and proud to have been awarded the earthworks contract by Joseph Gallagher Ltd for the construction of a new National Grid substation in Uckfield, East Sussex. The earthworks aspect of the project will require significant expertise and resources, and in addition, we will be removing around 50,000m³ of muck away and importing over 40,000 tonnes of aggregates. Our unique capabilities allow us to self-deliver all aspects of the contract, leveraging our heavy plant and large fleet of tippers.
We are excited to take on this challenge and will be deploying a large portion of our resources to ensure the project is delivered on schedule. We look forward to collaborating with Joseph Gallagher and their client, Balfour Beatty, to successfully bring this project to life.
